2000 with only Intake/Y-Pipe 14.761

Damn I love my maxima...here's my slip from MIR tonight.

R/T .989
60' 2.228 (oh hell yeah)
330 6.193
1/8 9.494
MPH 74.25
1000 12.345
1/4 14.761
MPH 93.09

Just in case nobody belives me, here's the timeslip..I was car 3389.

I ended up making the final four in the bracket racing tonight too. Not bad for my first time doing it. I lost in the semis to a F150 lightning. Those are so damn fast. I was surprising the pants off of people and I got so many compliments. I had the dial in set at 14.69 for the bracket racing. People were like "no way!", so I had to prove them wrong. Heh Heh Heh.

I believe you! That time is 100% realistic for even a stock 5 speed Max with a decent launch and driven hard.

great run, glad to see you silenced some critics at the track.....I hope to get times at least close to yours, when I get my @ss to the track..

Hey Warren! Not sure if you will look back at this thread, but what was your best time with your y-pipe? (I am not sure if you ever got a run in with a good clutch and without a bad flex though?)

Mine should be on this week and I wanted something to shoot for!

IIRC he ran a 14.45 with his ypipe and clutch.

Yep, but the Y-Pipe was already starting to block up by then.

I think it had a 14.2 in it, oh well.

I will be back in the running soon enough.

MEVI was going on after the y-pipe, but went to the track this weekend and think my clutch needs to be replaced.

I did two back to back 14.9's, but at the track I couldn't chirp second, and my traps were down my 1 mph?

Did 14.9's at 91mph? 2.2 60fts and 9.6's 1/8.

Only thing I have changed since my runs at Steele is new tires. Dunlop SPA2's 215's. I had 225's on. I didn't think that would effect my mph though? It is a different track too....

Sorry for the rambling.

I just wish someone would actually come out with a 97 plus ECU that didn't have to use a 95-96 ECU!! It is an untapped market waiting to explode!
