Alright, got my car back this morning. They did correct 2 or 3 problems however. Anyway, to give the lowdown, I brought it in 2 days ago to see if my clunking noise thinking it was one of the CV axles messed up and it was under powertrain warranty. I specifically told them do not fix the problem unless it was under powertrain, cause I know that they would charge me the diagnostic fee. I also complained that the engine when bogging down on cold startup, as well as a leak somewhere. Anyway, I left it overnight, and came back the next day to find out that they fixed the leak, but "could not duplicate" the cold start problem or the clunking noise. I paid their $35 service fee to fix the power steering leak. So then, as soon as I drove it off the lot, the clunking noise was still there. I immediately took it back and complained. I had a service guy come out and ride with me, to show him what the problem was. So the car went back in the shop again, few hours wasted again. So last night my mom gets a call saying the car was "fixed". I go this morning to pick it up, to find out that they were trying to charge me ANOTHER $65 for the fix of the clunking, which by the way was the brakes. Looks to me all they did was spray anti squeel compound on the back of the pads. So needless to say, I was not happy at all. They charge me for two things and then try to charge me a ****load of money for something I coulda done myself. Then they try to charge me for fixing something they couldnt even find the first time, and had already charged me for trying to diagnose the problem. Then they're telling me that the first service charge was only for the power steering leak and did not cover the "diagnostic and repair" of the clunking noise. It was a funny sight cause I had everybody in the damn dealers service department staring at me as I was making a huge scene. Then the service manager comes out, and was like "do you want me to unfix your car.." my reply was "yea you might as well, trying to charge me 3 times for things." They tried to explain to me how diagnosing the problem costs money, and i was like 'yes i understand that, but you're here trying to charge me twice, for something that wasnt even fixed the first time.. not to mention i almost had to work yesterday..." So then, it actually ended on somewhat a good note, he was like "ok, how bout this, have a merry christmas, we'll send you on your way." As soon as I got in my car to start it up, it did the bog down at cold start thing. grr... i hate the dealers, try to rip me off.. I'll clean out my throttle body when I put my air intake back in...
