After 7 long week of waiting, my FSTB from streetbeat finally arrivaled. It didn't come with any installation docs.
Here is my question, Should I tighten the screw that connected the C shaped bracket to the bar?

I just got mine yesterday as well. It looks pretty good and seems sturdy. I saw previous posts stating that the streetbeat bars were made by Vibrant but the one I got is made by Matrix and I'm quite happy with it even though I've only just pulled it out of the box. I'm waiting to borrow a tourqe wrench from my friend so I can install it. I think what you do is tighten the two C shapes things onto the car, then twist the bar itself and it will either tighten or loosen depending on which way you twist it. Then when its the correct fit you screw the nuts tight and it will hold. I'm pretty sure thats how its done. I'll let you know after I install mine.

I just got mines yesterday also. I guess they have to wait for a number of orders before they could get a discount from the manufacture. Check out this site http://www.bol.ucla.edu/%7Ecchiu1/stb.html to get installation instruction.
