Hello there. I have a 94 Mazda Mx6 and I'm in the same situation you all are in also. I have is300 wheels that I got from a super deal for my car and the center bore on them is too small. So boring the center of the wheels didn't give you all the shivvers?? Cause I know the machine shop has to bore it just right and flat, GULP. What did you ask to them to have it done?? Did they have to measure the hub on the car or something? I love to do it but I'm just wondering on the options to have them installed. Whats the price?? PLEASE let me know.

Call some local machine shops. Find out the center bore of your car's wheels. If it's not too big, it shouldn't be a problem for good machine shop. Nissan is 66.1mm just for your reference.

 

If anyone is wondering that is my se-r with the hood up in the background. You need to just get the center bored or just get some 5mm spacers and longer studs.

 

66.1mm, is that the width of the maxima hub? What about the height or does the height matter?

 

Better idea is to bore them to what all aftermarket wheels are bored to. Forgot the exact number .. 73.1 ? Don't remember .. but this way .. everyone can get hubcentric rings for it.. (should you ever decide to swap them onto a diff car, or sell)

 

if you bore till it fits just right without hubcentric ring, you can still bore it bigger if needed. if you bore too big, then you are screwed. Very nice looking wheels by the way.

 

my rotas are bored to 73.0 and the H&R spacers are bored to 66.2 so maybe you can bore it to the same spec and it may be ok

 

Hey Dave long time no post, I see you have new toys and got rid of the Kasai's as well.

 

Bore it to what your centerbore is(for safety) so you have perfectly hubcentric wheels. I wouldn't bore it more than I had to(again for safety reasons). Really nothing you can do with the height because to change the height, you would change the offset. These wheels have almost too much offset anyway(for a maxima anyway)

I have the polished IS300 wheels on my maxima. A place in Ft Lauderdale FL called goodroads bored all mine to 66.1 for $100. I guess you can expect to pay anywhere from 20-40 per wheel. I am not sure about your car but i also needed a spacer in the back, it was just too close to my strut.
