My fog dosent work so i took out my hyperwhite fogs and put in stock and the dealer is going to fix it caus it is under waranty...so i ask whether i have to take out the other 8 hyperwhite bulbs becaus will they be a**holes and say that i tinkered with lights...i know they wont affect eatch other but i was just wondering if u guys can tell me what to do..thanks i appreciate input asap

 

So basically you put in overwattage h3's and it burned the wires, yep the first thing they will check out is your other bulbs. If you have all your stock bulbs, put them all back in. It might be a pain but it will probably be worth the labor.

If the bulbs are regular 55 wattage then there is something else wrong.

the other lights are the wattage they should be, actually the fogs were also regualr wattage hyperwhites...so i guess im gonna leave in becaus i realyyy dont feel like taking them out..if my fogs have the stock bulbs how can they prove that they havent always been like that? they cant right?they would have to assume i changed all the bulbs but the fogs

 

If you put in higher watt bulbs without a heavier wiring harness, and burned the OEM wires up, it's your fault. Be a man, and pay for *your* mistake. Chalk it off to a learning experience. It could have been worse: there might have been a fire...

 

i didnt put in higher wattage so its not my fault thus im letting them fix it
