Is it illegal to...

Is it illegal to have white bulbs in the rear blinkers? Does anyone know anyone or had any experience with being pulled over for having white rear blinkers?

yes. white is for reverse or headlights only. blinkers are only allowed to be red or orange by law.
the local law enforcement may choose to or not to enforce it, so that part is up to you.

i have been pulled over for the clear rear turn signals in north carolina, and they just said to put the yellow bulbs back in. but i have never been pulled over in virginia even after signaling in front of cops.
