My 2 cents on HID theft
After this weekends events, and like others who have suffered stolen HIDs, I was left pondering...
Car some radios don't work once remove from a car...
Air bags don't work once removed from the car...
The CAR doesn't work once the chipped key is removed...
So when will manufacturers equip cars with ballast, or a chip therein, that shorts once removed from a car that has had its alarm armed.
When we get these "smart HIDs" I will reconsider buying the G35, or even taking my Max to the movies, or mall...
Until I get "smart HIDs" I'll just keep my Max warm on the inside at night...Wish these seat came with a pillowtop option...

Personally...I've hired a hobo midget to sit in the drivers seat when I'm away from the car....He has very acute hearing....just yesterday he beat the shish out my grandma who got a little too close...
But seriously, after an air bag is disconnected from the car, it doesn't work....why not a HID???...
Can't be that hard for Nissan (or other car makes) to implment this feature in '04, and be able to retro fit it onto'02 & '03 Maxs...
