i'm not sure. it's from level ten. they said that it would be street/strip setup. your guess is as good as mine. i'm getting it rebuild by a local tranny shop and he knows his s&*^.

save some money and call Protorque....rumor has it Level 10 buys their converters from Protorque anyways, so save yourself some costs.

Draggin wize it will perform quite well at the track, depending on how hi the stall is and how much traction u got. I woulndt really recommend a higher stall converter on a street driven car due to the fact that it can be irritating to control. Say u got the stall set at 2500, that means that u besically have nothin below 2500rpms. Its like driving a manual and always dropping the clutch at 2500rpms. The most anoying one ive driven was on a chevelle (I know a Maxima doesnt compare to any chevelle in power) which has the stall set at 4000rpms. It feels like the tranny is slipping til u hit 4 grand, then when u hit 4 grand the front end starts to come off the ground. (This only thing stock on that car was the body) If u do get a higher stall converter anymore then 600 above stock would be a bit much with a car of this level. just my .02

It will probably have the greatest effect if you are N/A. Thats where the auto suffers for 60' times. Of course you realize that only your 60' will benefit because once you get rolling the T/C has no effect, it just lets you launch at a higher rpm.

David6601 and I are running 1.8 60' times with stock convertor and nitrous and I don't think it can be improved on because of traction. Even MardiGrasMax is only running a 1.7 with his 11.9 time and a 5 speed so I don't think an auto can do much more than they are already doing.

Like Hitman says it will not be as streetable either.

Yup, it's the same one from L10. Nope, it won't make the tranny shift any faster.

I've never been to the track, but I do have some G-Tech "verified" times. I gained ~.5sec from 0-60 with the addition of only the ProTorque TC to my other basic N/A bolt-ons. Remember, they are G-Tech "verified" so take it with a grain of salt.

Also, you'll need to master launching/brake-torquing your car properly & you'll need good traction to take full advantage of a high-stall TC
