Rpm's!!! and chrome wheels

I was wondering, what is the most and safest rpm's that i can rev 2000 SE Automatic max up to without causing any transmission damage or engine damage. I heard that if you redline the car, its bad but what about 5,000 or 6,000 rpms? And in addition, im thinking about getting some 17 in chromes on my max. Will it make it significantly slower??? I need some advice please. I'm a beginner maxima owner. Thanks everyone. Please read my other post "Big Problems!!!"

dont worry, you can rev it up all the way, the built-in rev limiter will protect your engine. However, the higher RPMs, worse gas mileage you get. Regarding rims, your factory 17"s weight about 25lbs each. When looking for an aftermarket rims, try to find rims that weight less than that. If you put heavier rims, your car will be slower, but not a lot, depending how heavy are your replacement rims.

bigger rims actually make the car look more lifted...if you wanna go lower, you need lowering springs and aftermarket struts
