Old Engine, Re-newed

My car is very old and I wanted to know what should I buy to get it up again, like spark plugs and stuff?

oil filter: OEM
plugs: NGK coppers or platinums

Check the maintenance tables in your Nissan manual for service items you need to take care of, based on your mileage & usage.

engine flush, you can buy at autozone for cheap!! tranny flush, coolant flush, throttle body cleaning..... theres lots more im sure !

Go to AutoZone or Pep Boys and TRY:

1. Fuel Filter...$9
2. PCV Valve.....$5
3. Redline or Chevron(Techron)Fuel injector Cleaner...$5
4. Throttle Plate/Itake Cleaner...$4
5. NGK Platinum Plugs...OEM(PFR5G-11)...Dealer$70 or Ebay Store$40
6. Coolant Flush add Redline Water Wetter $5
7. Auto Tranny Flush or if high miles...Drain/Fill $40-$90
8. Oil Change...Synthetic/Non...the debate goes on...but just make sure you get the oil Temperature HOT at the DRAIN time... to get a FULL drain of the old oil.$24-$50
9. Tighten the Throttle cable (Free)
10. Clean off your Battery Posts (Free)

do someone know a write up about cleaning your trottle body, tighten trottle cable and all that stuff??

look at the 4th gen FAQs i believe it covers all of this and there are links to write ups there

I found out how to clean the tb but not how to tighten the cable?
