Want to remove air intake snorkal but not sure about how
I've got a midpipe and jwt popcharger and I want to remove the original lower intake air box. I'd also like to remove the snorkal and tube that leads to the lower box. I noticed there is a plug that goes into the snorkal pipe right before it enters the lower box. What should I do with this? Also, there is a Boost Control element at the upper part of the snorkal where air enters. Any suggestions on where to remount this. It is currently on a metal bracket that is screwed into the snorkal.
The car is a 97 SE manual transmission.
Thanks!

The boost control solenoid can just get zip tied to wires of your choice. Removing the snorkel is really easy, and basically just pops off. The plug that you see is the ambient air temp sensor and goes in the hole in your mid pipe.

No hole in pipe
I don't have an extra hole in the mid-pipe. I've got 3 "ports" on it. A tiny one facing the firewall, a large one facing the firewall, and one facing the front of the car. All three have hoses in them (hoses go to the same place as the 3 hoses that were running off of the stock resonator box). I'm not sure where I should put the ambient air temp sensor?
You should have room for 3 hoses: 2 large (1 on each side of the pipe), and 1 small vacuum hose on the firewall side. You should also have a hole for the ambient air sensor, but if you don't just zip tie it somewhere. It's not crucial, but it is good to have in the right place. What brand midpipe do you have? As far as I know only the PR midpipes have the hole precut
