I can get the used blower from my friend for $700. I worked him down.. But It doesnt come with all the installation stuff. Just the blower. Is that a good deal? I got Stillen to fax me a part list that comes with the SC.... How much extra would it be to buy all the parts exept the blower from stillen? Is 700 a good deal for just a blower?

 

This has been somewhat covered before.. generally you'd end up looking at the same price as a new/used kit.

If you have a good source to provide you with the mounting plate and misc. relocation items, maybe you can get it done; just remember that walking into a shop for a "custom" kit will not be cheap..

You could try that.. I've seen Vortechs for sale on ebay between 800-1000.. but you won't get that much money out of it

 

i remembered someone mentioned that stillen charge him 1000 for the mounting plate.

 

SO your saying that buying the blower and purchasing the additional parts from Stillen wont be any cheaper?

 

yup....the plate is already 1000 dollars....then you have pump, FMU, pipes, etc.
