Ignition Problem

hey all

i think i have an ignition switch problem.....when i turn the key all the way it acts likes it is going to start(ac/radio turns off) but no turn of starter. i know the starter is good because i just replaced it. on hot days is teh only time the problem pops up. it will take sometimes 4+ times turning of hte key to make it start
what would be hte best way to go on this problem?

Verify that your not getting power to the solenoid from the ignition switch, then replace the ignition switch.

Have a friend put a test light or volt meter on the solenoid while you turn the key.

A Haynes manual will help you out too.
