are you certain that the rear tires are aligned, and balanced.? if not then that is your problem, or that your doing too many ebraking

seriously, the fronts should die before the rear, more load and more use in the front. make certain that you rotate the tires every 5k or so.

That happens when you drive in reverse all the time.

Because "you" have an alignment issue with the rear. My guess your rear tires aren't wearing down evenly. Is it wearing down on the sides?

even on my dads 98 durango the fronts tend to wear quicker than the rears because of the turning, then again it could just appear that way because the tires do turn, taking more of a cross bite out of the tread.

getting on the gas quickly changes wear patterns though

along with what Izzy said, check tire pressure.

Thanks guys I will check the tire pressure and have the alignment checked because my rear tires are bald and my fronts stil have a lot of tread left.

If you rotated your tires on a regular basis like you're supposed to (at least 5K, but no more than 10K) all of the tires would be wearing out at about the same time. BUT, they'd still be wearing out quickly because of your alignment problem.

Make sure your struts aren't wiped out too, though that doesn't sound like the problem here.
