New guy in town

Hey whats ya'll. I just brought a Maxima yesterday I traded in the old malibu don't laugh. But I had no idea that the Max was that fast it made my malibu seem like I was riding a bike. But down the question I didn't receive a alarm pad from the dealer so I just brought one off of ebay, and doesn't anyone no how to program it to my car? Do I have to take panels off and stuff? Thanks for the help in advance

I think you have to take your car to the dealer and have them program the remote. My Guess, I'm not sure how else it would work.

You don't have to take the car to the dealer.
I bought 2 off ebay and programmed them myself no problem.
I'll try to dig up the instructions when I get home tonight.

I swear it's easy. I'll post directions tonight.
The dealer will rip you for $50 for something that takes 5 minutes.
I'll post directions tonight.

I hope this helps.

You don't have to take it to the dealer to have it program. If you bought a key and wanted it program, then for that you want to take to the dealer since they use the consult to program the key.
