My car hit 100K
My car is a '97 bought it last Dec. with 80K Highway miles I hit 100K miles this week. Only problem I had was a knock sensor, and leak in axle boot replaced both. I've spent a lot of money on it so far close to 9,000 including everything. Should I worry about reliability? The tranny? Etc? I do sometimes not often but sometimes drive fast, and drive like a bat out of hell. But I want this car to last me. Last major mods will be TV's, Leather Seats, Suspension, and Rims. Should I keep modding it?

I hit 100K few days ago as well!! Have 95, bought 5 months ago. Do not plan any serious mods except for lowering, but gladly spend money on maintainance since want this car to last me. The only big expenditure in future gonna be fixing up the tranny which is dying now.
Sorry about the link, but I posted stuff I had done at ~135k if you are interested.

I have a '97 GXE with a 5 spd. that I have owned since new. I now have 186k on it and I can't believe how little I have put into it and how well it runs. I just bought my first replacement part, a cam position sensor. Other than that it has just been routine maintenance like oil, filters, tires and brakes.
I was looking at the new Altimas lately and while I was at my local dealership, the sales manager told me I could expect 200k out of my Maxima.
I would buy another without question. It is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned.
Good luck
