installing crossovers???

installing crossovers???

i have a 2k2 non-bose maxima and im installing 6.5" components. i need to install the crossovers too. does my non-bose maxima have crossovers and if it does where are they? if not, how would i wire the crossovers to the speakers?

You connect the wires from the deck to the crossover box, then you connect the tweeter and 6 1/2 to the croosover box. i intalled my front croossover boxes in the kick panel.

ohh yea i dont think a non bose comes stock with crossovers.

it depends how big your crooss over box is. I installed my infinity x-over for the rear speakers inside the door with double sided tape.

if you are using your stock wires it doesnt matter. if you going to amp your speakers with a separate amp, its better to install your head unit first.

where do i find the wires for the tweeters and 6.5's? because i do not see any wires from the tweeters or the speakers?

1. Take your door apart.
2. take out the speaker
3. cut the wire going into the speaker
4. connect x over to that wire
5. connect the speaker/ tweeter to the x-over

im going to do this right now. so just to make sure.. i put the wires from the woofers into the xover, then i take the wire from the tweeter and put it in the xover also. but how does that all connect to the radio?
