installing crossovers???
installing crossovers???
i have a 2k2 non-bose maxima and im installing 6.5" components. i need to install the crossovers too. does my non-bose maxima have crossovers and if it does where are they? if not, how would i wire the crossovers to the speakers?
You connect the wires from the deck to the crossover box, then you connect the tweeter and 6 1/2 to the croosover box. i intalled my front croossover boxes in the kick panel.
ohh yea i dont think a non bose comes stock with crossovers.

if you are using your stock wires it doesnt matter. if you going to amp your speakers with a separate amp, its better to install your head unit first.

2. take out the speaker
3. cut the wire going into the speaker
4. connect x over to that wire
5. connect the speaker/ tweeter to the x-over
