Cali spec Y-pipe just has extra sensors on it - a cali y-pipe can be either performance or stock , it's just cali spec instead of Fed spec. http://www.custommaxima.com/Ypipe.php

If i'm not mistaken, I think the Cali spec y-pipe doesn't replace the pre cat assembly below the front engine exhaust manifold. And the Fed spec y-pipe doe's? I could be mistaken. Try going to cattman's website & see if they explain the difference... I would say go to Stillen, but I've been there 100 times & i know they don't have an explanation for the difference. Is it just me or is the stillen website kind of bland?
