Energy susp. installation questions...

I'm going to be installing energy suspension bushing on the front end. (Control arms, end links, sway bar, etc.)

I did a minor search and came up with little info.

Is there anything in particular I need to look out for?

Any special tricks to make it easier?

Thanks!

I've just done the sway bar bushings and the end link bushings. They were pretty straightforward to do, although I did have my front suspension apart at the time to help make things easier. Check out the pic to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

I've heard the control arm bushings are a bit difficult, but I don't have any experience with them so I don't know for sure.

thanks. Did the sway bar bushings just slide on or did you use something to make them slide easier?

Use the grease that they provide on the sway bar bushings. Put it on the inside of the bushing where it wraps around the bar and outside the bushing where it comes in contact with the bracket. Don't be stingy either, use it all.

DO NOT use any grease on the end link bushings.

I have the Energy Suspension set, I havent installed them yet. I could've sworn the sway bar bushings are cut, if they are, they should slide right in. If not you always lube them up

I do have a question for the contro arm bushings... how did you guys take out the metal sleeve inside the arm? It needs to be taken out to put the ES ones... I was gonna take it to a machine shop to have it pressed out unless you guys have some ways to get it out?

You're right, they are cut. Grease 'em up anyway though.

I ordered them a few days ago and am waiting for them to arrive. I looked at the suspension last night and I see the Sway and end links should be straight forward. The control arm bushing do seem to be a little more difficult to install. Hopefully, I'll get the package soon and can attept them all.
Any more help on the installation of the control arms would be great. Thanks!

I checked several sites and found that suspension.com had the best prices. The total for the control bushings, end link and sway bar with shipping to PA came to about $47. I haven't gotten them yet but I figure everything should be good. Other people say Courtesy nissan has good prices too.
Also, once I install the bushings I'll report my findings.
