have you guys seen this? the only thing us 95-96 owners can do is altez gen 1's... well i cant post attachments so i cant show a pic) the altezzas with the casing/paint around the whole piece except for the light ( looks kinda like skyline) theres a pic on the link to all the available bodykits...its under the ionice bodykit..does anyone know how to do this or has done it? thanks!

 

You mask off the red circles...and paint the rest -- EITHER INSIDE OR OUT w/ your car color or black..

red-clears are nice but every other person has them. 95-96 people can't get them unless the stupidity takes over and they get a 97 lid.

 

why would it be stupid to change trunk to 97???? IMO 97+ trunk lids look far better than 95+ anyway. as soon as i get the cheese thats what im investing in. i wish 95+ red clears were available they look so clean.

 

Spending $500 dollars on a lid then another $150+ on the lights for what? Having a rear that looks almost the same? If you have money laying around then go ahead but it's just stupid.

 

i understand your point of view, but spending that money on trunk and lights is a cosmetic mod some might be willing to do, some people on here spend hundreds of dollars on HID kits that just do not belong on our cars. yes it adds better light but unless you have projectors it is just light scattered in all directions and can pottentially be dangerous for other drivers. why spend 600 dollars on a fiber glass body kit that can break 10 mins after you install it. or why invest 3000 dollars into your car when it can be stolen or wrecked in an accident. in the end its what ever makes the owner happy.

i dont know what you are looking at but those trunks look nothing alike. 95/96 trunks look old as fawk which i can understand for a 9 year old car. the 97 looks alot cleaner and has a design that looks alot newer, esp with the red clears

 

sorry guys but i agree with the other guys..ummm i mean i like the 97 red clears they look so clean that stupid little amber can ruin the whole car..i whole heartedly agree with the magik one modding is modding..why dont you guys like the look of the altez lights painted off? does it really look that bad? i wish i could do the led mod but dang..that looks complucated..

 

Try to contact kevlo911 (i think) he has the leds.

Altezzas have rice built all over them. They just don't look right on the maxima especially the 1st gen altezzas. The red/clears on the other hand make the maxima look clean. They give the maxima a good unsoiled appearance.

I like the look of my tails. Red/Clears are nice, but just about every 97-99 has them.

Red/clears are like Evo 5 rims.... -- Everyone has them, but they look daaaaamn good!

no offense taken. Us 95_96 guys dont have much of a taillight choice.
If I could get the old DavidL red/clears I would pimp them. But for now, I like my fake skyline setup

Their old series 1 altezzas's I had painted factory paint color,QNO to match.
I had them done when I did my front end conversion.
