How soon should I use Seafoam?
How soon should I use Seafoam?
My girlfriend has a 03 max and I want to take very good care of it. Would doing the seafoam thing on a regular basis now be a good idea? Would it help me out alot on the carbon build up if I started using Seafoam at 15K? I don't want to over do it.
Any other suggestions on how to keep this car running like new?

I no thinky seafoam really worky. To clean the engine I just put some ATF under the spark plugs and the car smokes for half an hour. At first it was really dark smoke, then it becomes white. ATF is cheap also. Like mentioned before, seafoam contains octane booster which when added to the fuel tank makes you think that you gained MPG and a bit of power.

Do you take off the spark plug or just off the coil and pour ATF?

I sucked Seafoam through a vacuum line, let it sit for 30 min, then let the smokeout begin. I gained a consistent 2MPG. No octane boosters doping my results there.

My girlfriend has a 03 Titanium and I just want to keep up the maintenence on it. I was thinking it would be smart to start while the car is young to keep carbon from building up.
