broke mcgard locking lugnuts trying too get wheels off too do suspension need help

broke mcgard locking lugnuts trying too get wheels off too do suspension need help

wel how can I getn theses locking lugnuts of bothe the key and the lugnut itself have broke..... the problem is that the lugnut broke partially on the side wall of the locking lugnut so I cant get a socket around it any help appreciated

There is a tool set that locks on a rounded or broken lugnut. Go to a auto shop or dealer for them to remove it for you. It won't be to expensive for them to remove one lugnut as compared to buying the kit, around $100 to $150

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago.

I had a buddy weld a regular hex nut on to the end of the McGard locking nut and then took it off with a regular socket.

Note - make sure you cover up the area around the nut to be extracted so your rims do not get any splatter on them.

well you could try this way, just get a regular socket, and just hammer it on the lugnut until its stuck there, and just screw it out...thats what some shop did for us, when the key of some wheel locks we had broke
