front side door cup - speaker install
I use a simple flat-head screwdriver. Once you get one out the first time, make a mental note of where the tabs are so you'll know exactly where to insert the screwdriver and apply pressure (near the corners). They are no problem for me.
i have looked at the site below before i tried to remove the door handle cup. the cup bent so much that i felt it was going to break and i stopped and gave up. mayby i door is especially tight. i have tried with a flat headed screw. i guess i can try trim panel remove tool.

Basically, you pop out the end of that panel (closest to lock). Then pull it back with your hands and all the way on the opposite end, both top and bottom, there's a tab. Just wedge a flat on the top part and pry it. Mine came flying out.
