my clock/bose radio doesnt work and i cant find the fuse!
ok i wanted to try my new sony head unit but i needed an adapter for the antennae so i took it out and placed back my stock bose head unit and the clock doesnt work. i couldnt find the fuse on the accessory [unless i read it wrong] and the memory on my bose is messed up. everytime i take the key out and put it back in the radio stations get reset? wat could cause this? Did i mess up the harness or is it the memory wire? the bose was working fine before i took it out
i knw which one it is........there is a fuse in the very top passenger corner i think it is.....on the panel that says what the fuses are called.....it is the elec parts.....it does not look like it would be a fuse cause it is kinda seperated form the other ones.....it is a 7.5. it happened to me once to. Is your antenna not going up?
yea it is under the wheel.....it is at the very very top....i think it is above all the others i might be worng. i know the antenna and the clock are on that fuse....is your homelink working? if not....that is your culpret. that happened to mewhen i replaced my head unit as well......it took me awhile to figure out cause i did not relize there was a fuse there. i took every fuse i could out of that car and checked it and they were all fine......exept that one.

Homelink is an option for a universal remote in the car. It allows you to consolidate multiple remotes into one convienent sun visor location.
once again thanks guys you have solved my problems, manual maxima u were right about that lonesome 7.5 amp fuse at the top lol. neways i got it fixed and my antennae and clock works. not to mention the radio on the bose doesnt get resedt any more, thats kind of weird how the clock antennae and radio are all on one fuse, anyways thanks
Ugh, similar problem, no fix.
I know this is a bit dated, however I'm having a similar problem and I've pulled each fuse and checked them, but they're fine and the BOSE HU won't power on.
A bit more info:
It stopped working while I was installing an audiolink and harness. The 12V and grd shorted out (I know, Im an idiot), and it wouldn't power on after that. Is there any other location that might have a fuse to check? I even checked the top right 7.5 fuse and audio/bose fuses twice based on this thread.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Ok, I found it!!!!!!
Desparation caused me to search under the hood, and what I thought previously was the fuse box under the hood, wasn't. I found the fuse area on the right of the battery, and low and behold I saw an audio fuse. Pulled the 15 fuse and wham, it was blown. Replaced it and have my HU back.
Whew. I'm convinced I only figured it out because I posted it on here.
