hey i need some quick help my cold air intake is coming in the mail tomorrow and i need to know how to take my mass air flow meter off ive loosend the brace on it but all that does is make it spin around so i was wondering if i have to break the seal to get it of?.....my new air intake comes with a new seal so i figured that is what you do but i was not sure.....

 

You need to remove the 4 10mm bolts located on one end of the MAF and unbolt the 8mm hoseclamp on the other side. Its much easier if you disconnect the tube that runs to the throttle body also.
