Racing Steering Wheel Installation?

Hello all. I just bought a SPW Steering wheel for the Max with a Hub Adaptor. Does anyone know where I can find a right up of how to install this? My brother said it might be complicated because of the Air bag but I have seen this done on a Max before. Anyone know how to install? Or where I can get the write up? Thanks

Nick

use the special tool to remove the air bag, then i think its a 19mm socket to remove the steering wheel, then I think you just put the hub kit on and screw the 19mm bolt back on and put your new wheel on. you will loose cruise control.

Switching to aftermarket steering wheel is more hassle than its worth but if you don't mind it, then by all means go 4 it! Plus you loose all the necessary stuff like horn control, c/c, and more importantly airbag. Even if you get the horn control to work, it gets flakey. Nothing is more reliable than a OEM wheel. The only thing I see worth switching to is perhaps a newer 4th gen wheel. I'm not sure how it works with other gens.
