Funny thing I saw today . . .

I saw a 5.5 today on the Grand Central Parkway (NYC) and it had a brush guard in front of his car. I guess his headlights got jacked once too many, and he put on a brushguard. Looked pretty retarded, but to each his own.

What? No pics? Did this guy just get out of the outback or something? Oh wait, I know, he was hunting thugs in NYC w/ his bumper!

those things that trucks have on them, the bars that go in the front with little bars in front of the headlights, to protect them when they are offroading, and to look cool

Wow!!! I did'nt even know they made those things for maximas. This guy must think he is driving one of those "road trains" in the outback of Aussie with a bull guard /cow catcher in the front. I gues you gotta do what you have to to deter the thieves.

You guys laugh...but I actually have seen a maxima with one as well. It was a 4th gen guy that used to run in the off-road mountain climbs and road rallies in Italy. American-spec 4th gen that he had imported, and he used a brush guard similar to ones you see on Subaru Outbacks.....also had the large round Hella fogs (4 of them) across it....car was totally "rallied-out" in appearance (big decals, knobby rally tires, big mudflaps, etc)...pretty damn sweet, actually...wish I could find a pic of it!

i don't think that it brush guard was made specifically for a Maxima. I think it was from an SUV and custom bent to fit the Maxima. It didn't look clean. THe holes for the headlights didn't look it was for the Max.
