New HIDs

Well I finally bought new 6000k hids from www.Umnitza.com and all I have to say is damn. Customer service was awesome, delivery was lightning quick and the product kicks a$$.
Here is a link to my car domain site. I have pics of the lights with before and after comparisons:

Sorry about the car domain background....I really like the blueish hue to these, I think that it makes driving visability a lot better.

Hey no problem with the page. I am thinking about those bulbs as well. How was the install? Is it just a matter of switching out the stock ones? Also, I went on their site and all I could find was d2s bulbs? Are we d2s or d2r?

We have d2r. They dont have the bulbs on the website, but if you pm him or email him, Matt will get you a price and where to send the money. The install wasnt to hard, it gets a little tight because there is no room and you just have to watch out not to touch the bulb. The only problem I had was the bulb came on when I installed last night and this morning it wasnt working so I just had to take it appart and put it back together. I think I didnt have the conector conected to the bulb well enough.

Look's sick. I'm gonna add the 6000k kit to my fog's soon, then eventually change that stock headlight bulbs to 6000k to match.

The light pattern isnt affected at all. I think that it illuminates the streets great. I puts out a cool blue color on the streets and makes visability great. The blue color is easy on your eyes too.

Looks nice, I got some 6000Ks on my I30 as well. Visability will not be as good as 4100K or 5000K. They are as bright as you can get, the higher up the K scale you go, you get less light.

just not the same...

I mean, it looks nice and everything but i've never seen an aftermarket bulbs that looks anything close to the OEM kits and bulbs. I mean, the Acura HID bulbs are violet compared to everything else, and they're under 5000k. All i know is that stock HID's always look better and are way brighter thatn anything else. IMO ofcourse!

Also, those comparison pics look inaccurate. Stock HIDs are REALLY nice, and those just "look" like stock bulbs!

but, it does "look" nice, but ""the look is only as good as the camera""

Thanks, coldsho. The headlights look awesome with the yellow piaa fogs and there is nothing wrong with the camera it is a $500 digital camera and the pictures are basically what the bulbs look like, maybe just a little off. Its probably because I was taking it to close or just had a setting wrong.

I didnt mean your camera is wrong.. i just meant that every pic i've seen with stock HIDs still doesn't look as good as it really does in real life. But me myself had a 8000k kit in my former 00 grand am gt, and it looked great, but still nothing close to the stock HIDs.

I know...you arent the only one that said that there is something wrong with the camera.....I must just be using the wrong setting or something, guess I just have to actually read the instruction to the damn thing.
