seafoam
seafoam is awesome stuff. you can pour it in any hole your car has. good in the gas, oil, intake, wherever you feel like pouring it.
a good place to start is with the intake. start the engine and let it idle. then pop the hood, get a pair of pliers and find the brake booster under the master cylinder. see the rubber hose goin to it? take the pliers and squeeze the tabs on that clamp, move the clamp up about 4", and use the pliers to pull the hose off the power brake booster. you'll hear a loud HISS and the idle RPMs will shoot sky high. SLOWLY pour the seafoam into that vacuum line. I usually use about 1/2 a can or so. if you feel the engine start to choke and sputter, slow down the pouring. you can also disconnect the hose at the PCV valve and dump some in there. once you've got the seafoam in there, put the vacuum line back on the power brake booster, stop the engine, wait about 5-10 minutes and start her back up. you'll make massive amounts of white smoke come from the exhaust for a while as the seafoam burns away and cleans out the carbon and everything. now's a good time to take it on the road and see how long of a smoke trail you can make.
and if someone's tailgating you... floor it and smoke em.. quite literally.
but that's about the gist of it. that stuff works awesome. it doesn't do that good of a job on cleaning the throttle plate though. STP throttle body/air intake cleaner is the best I've tried. if you've never cleaned the throttle plate before, it's a good thing to do. you'll notice a difference.
