DID MY DROP TODAY!!! pics inside + updated CarDomain

Finally did my first drop on the car. KYB GR-2 struts and H&R springs. check out some pics from the day.

The install went really smooth, no major hang ups along the way. Thanks to Andrew (Waveridr85) for the help with everything. Good work bro.
Also check out my updated CarDomain! Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

it looks like nice but your front wheel gap is bigger than the rear wheel gap

H&R springs are blue, not red.
Where did you get them from and is there any writing on them, if so what does it say. The drop looks lower then the typical H&R drop. Looks more like a B&G drop or Sprint with a cut coil in the rear.

dropping the maxima in the driveway !!!! awsome, but like it was said before , those are not H&R springs ( H&R makes Race springs in red i belive) but i don't think they make them for A32 maxima

droop looks lower than Sprint springs....

Nick.

Looks good, but i too have H&Rs, but they are blue. I also have GR2s. Your drop is lower than mine, those must be some other spring. Unless the camera angle is messing with our minds.

Either way, it looks really good. Get some wheels and you'll be set.
Happy modding!

the chrome trim is goin REAL soon. rims are gettin fixed up after 2 winters of not being taken off and im workin on gettin a set of 6th gen 18s so wheels will be on as soon as one of those sets is ready.
as for the springs they are def H&R, i thought they should be blue too but they have the name right on one of the coils. i noticed that the back looks a little low myself. i do have a box in the trunk and when i took those pics the trunk was also full of tools and all the other stuff i brought to my friends to do the work. im gonna check my tire pressure and a few other things, give it a few more days to settle and see where im at. hopefully theres no major problem. the car rides awesome tho. im really happy with the feel. once i figure out wuts up with everything ill take a few more pics and let you all know how it turns out. thanx for all your input tho

H&R makes Red springs , this is their RACE line of springs, but i didn't know that, they were avialable for A32 maxima

H&R's that most people have here on .org are dark blue and they are in H&R SPORT line, Sprint springs are light blue

Here is pic of Red H&R's

But H&R does not make the sport line for the A32 Maxima.

My H&Rs are also BLACK. Do your springs have the H&R logo and part number on them? If not, they aren't H&Rs or they have been painted.

My Sprints were blue though.

My H&Rs were a deep gun metal blue (nearly black) with white H&R lettering on them. The box was white and blue.

Yes, I believe it is the part number that is printed on them. I did not examine the white lettering closely enough to determine what it was. They were brand new though- this I know

idk guys, im kinda new to suspension so i wouldnt really know right off, but the dude i bought em from said they were H&R. i was definitely suprised at how low it was, i kno H&Rs arent supposed to be crazy low. the kid has his original paperwork layin around somewhere, he offered to find it for me...maybe i should take him up on that and see for myself. not that it matters really, but ya'll got me curious now haha.

also does anyone else's car kinda sit down in the back now thats its dropped? a bunch of you guys mentioned that it doesnt look even. any suggestions on that?

a couple of you guys pointed out the fact that the car seems to be a little uneven, sitting down in the back a bit more than the front. anyone have suggestions on why this might be or if theres anything i can do about it?

and just to start off...yes i have a box in the trunk w/ 2 10s and 2 amps and yes i emptied out everything else that might be weighing it down. so go from there

H&R didnt design the springs with a full trunk of audio equipment in mind, im sure they wanted to preserve some kind of OEM weight distribution, or correct it slightly for performance

EDIT: if those are in fact H&R's

Jack up the car and look closely at those springs. There should be some writing on them identifying what they really are. By looking at the drop, color ect. and knowing that H&R does not make their race series for the Maxima, it seems you don't have a set of H&R's installed on your car.

It would be nice to find out what you've actually installed.
