Clucth lost pressure???? why?

I was driving down the street today and and my car started getting hard to shift. After alittle while the clutch pedalwhen i pushed it down went straight to the floor and stayed there. I turned the car off and pushed it in and pulled t out and it got better. What went wrong here?

Could be air in your clutch lines, might need bleeding.
Could be your TO bearing.
Could be your clutch disc.

How new is your clutch? How do you usually drive your car?

Probably your clutch master or slave cylinder, when you get a new clutch it has a tendancy to put more pressure on these parts than the previous clutch. 50/50 odds but I'm guessing it's your slave.

I had this almost happen over the weekend. I was losing a lot of fluid. Turns out there was a 'wet' hose located under the air scoop, a rubber hose that plugs into the tranny. It's about 10 inches long. I bought a new one at the stealer $50. Put it on yesterday and the leak is GONE! I need to bleed the line some more but I definitely found the cause.

check your slave cylinder....I bet its dry. Mine did this as well, and I just added a little DOT3 until I could get around to replacing the slave cylinder (its easy do do your self). After I replace the slave cylinder I was still have a problem with loosing fluid, so I replaced the clutch line (rubber hose going to the slave) and it fixed the leak. Goodluck.
