Alright back last summer my car got nailed TWICE in one week in the rear bumper, didnt leave any dents but it toally scratched the hell out of the bumper... its all chipped up too. Also somehow acid got all over my rear driverside door and ate through the clearcoat pretty bad. So my friends dads good friend owns a nissan dealership and he offered to repaint my door and bumpers for a reasonable price. Now i'm sure it being a nissan dealership and all the paint should match decent..(i hope) and I think he's gunna buff it and stuff for me because he's keeping my car there for a week. Now when I get the car back what should I do, what chemicals are OK and not ok to put on?? How much wax should I put on?? Thanks in advance.. -Nine

Don't wax it for at least 3-4 weeks. Some of the chemicals in the paint need to evap or settle.

Just wait for atkeast 48 hours after the car was painted then you can just wash with your normall car wash soap. Also Like Ravq said wait a while before you wax it I think I was recommended to wait 4-6 weeks before I could wax it.
