I went to have my bottle filled yesterday and i was told i needed a permit (In NJ). He gave me the info sheet and i had to fill out another paper. The permit comes int he mail...usually about 2 weeks. I know with the permit, i can have the bottle in my trunk. Im not sure of the full rules and regulations but i will soon enough. BTW, the permit was free though. Well at least he didnt charge me.

FYI-you need to show a permit to ahv eyour bottle filled around here. Also, if you get searches and you dont have a permit for the NOS tank, your car will be impounded.

This is issue by the NJ State Department of Health. This is in section 24:6G-1

Never heard of that. I know you have to be certified to do "refills", but I've never heard of that ANYWHERE!!

I would check with someone else, that guy might have have been "refilling" without the hoses being tight, hehe

No permit is necessary here in MA. I usually go to Speed Shack in Norwood to fill my bottle. They charge $4.50 a pound.

5 years ago when people started to mod their Civics, I remember that every air filter and headers advertisements said that their products are for racing only.

I even read that the header cannot be used on public highway. Does it mean its dangerously fast? Not realy....

If I recall, many turbos for Civics used to be illegal for street use, but somehow, people blinded it and use it anyway.......
