OPINIONS FROM 4th GEN MAX OWNERS WILL BE APPRECIATED!(PICS PLEASE)

I'm thinking of getting the infiniti G coupe stock rims(7spoke) for my max. but i'm thinking of getting the chrome ones. if anyone has a picture of their max with those rims(even the ones that aren't chrome) i'd appreciate it if you post a picture here. opinions on the rims too. thank you very much!

extra qs'

1.)what size of tire is appropriate for 18X7.5 rims? so it won't rub on my fenders? At the same time; prevent the rims from being bent if i hit a pothole... 225/40/18? 235/40/18? 245/40/18?

the best size for a 18x7.5 is definitely 225 40 18... but 235 will work fine. Best to do 235 on an 8" wide rim.... 235 40 18 will definitely not rub... unless the offset is way wrong

how is 225/40-18 the best size?

I had 225s on my last set of 18x7.5 rims and it was horrible. The tires were stretched and the ride quality was awful. When I got my second set of 18s I got 235s and the ride is much better and it does not rub. I could fit 245s on here and still not have a problem with rubbing. Go with 235s, you will get a better ride quality from them over 225s and are guaranteed not to rub.

Currently im running 225/40 and the ride sucks, on flat roads handling is great, but you literally feel every bump and crack in the road and it gets annoying after awhile. I'm buying new tires in about a week at which time I am getting 235/40's. Likely will need to adjust my illuminas a little to get perfect handling/ride ratio.
