Hi, does anyone have a link or how to on disabling the trunk release where the interior trunk release button no longer works? I have a 97 Se and I'm getting a system next week and just want to take a little extra security steps. thanks

 

pop your drivers side door panel off and unplug the button.

Just below the trunk latch inside the trunk there is a hole with a small metal tab. Press the tab down. It will disable the interior trunk latch. To turn it back on flip the tab back up. The electrical portion of the release will still work and will click when you press the trunk release but the lock won't disengage. Be sure your trunk key works before doing this.

 

I just pulled the fuse out

 

wire it to a relay so it only works when the key is on.
