Will failing ign. coils act up in neutral?

Will failing ign. coils act up in neutral?

Just trying to figure out if I've got a busted ignition coil or not. When in neutral, I can rev up the car no problem. Only when in gear, when my gas pedal is at the exact same spot in ANY gear, it'll bog down a little until I pass that point in the pedal, then it's pretty much smooth sailing until the next point. There's 2 precise points in the pedal where the car will bog for a second, roughly 1/4 pressed and 3/4 pressed. I know it sounds weird. Could this also be my TPS?

Yes, it could be a bad spot in the TPS. If you have a voltmeter you can check TPS voltage to see if it goes haywire at that particular angle.

Well I have CEL but only 0505 coming from it.
