where to put foglights? and how?

hey guys, just bought some fog lights, and i want to know where anyone thinks the best location for them is... i mean like in the middle, or as far apart as possible (where the stock's would go)? or does it even matter?

also, how are you guys (with aftermarket fogs) attaching the brackets on there? just screwing them in thru the bumper? i've got some ideas im throwing around in my head, but i just want to see what you all are doing first.

thanks for your input.

there are existing holes in the spots for the stock foglights. i used those holes for mounting my fogs. i used a relay, so whenever my corners are on my fogs are on.

I was going to get some and just put them in the lower opening on the bumper, in the corners.

Seems like the best way. That's the way i've always done it.

it mounts from the top. there are already holes there so use them. i did run into a slight problem. those holes dont sit even b/c there is a metal plate near one of the holes. i just dremeled a small piece off of it. although u could probably use a couple of washers to make the lights even and it should work just as good.

On the 95-96 we dont have cut outs on the bumper, I would like to put some round like 3" in ,but how would I cut the bumper and has anyone done this? Also the bumper is at an angle so how difficult would it be to keep them level?

i want to know too. i have a 96 gle and need to cut the hole for the fog. i was thinking of cutting out the plastic, then fit a gutter guard mesh behind it to match the rest of the mesh. and mount a 3" round light there. anybody have projector fog lights? i don't see any on ebay at 3"...
