US Maxima & Euro Maxima Suspension the same?

US Maxima & Euro Maxima Suspension the same?
My uncle owns a european Maxima (99) and the rear springs need to be replaced. They are much cheper in the US. Will a US spec maxima springs fit the euro one? Should I get infiniti i30 springs since the two cars look alike?
If anyone knows anything about this, i'd appreciate some pointers.
