How many gallons per gallon?
How many gallons per gallon?
In discussion of maxima mpgMr. Smbdy complained the other day that "I am inventing" the mob robbing u at pump: You are charged 2 gallons while u get 1½...
Now pls try to explain what Michigan Department of Agriculture is doing:
http://www.detnews.com/2005/commutin...B08-290709.htm
"In relation to 2002 numbers, complaints about quantity are up 70 percent, while quality complaints are up 58 percent," Perrone said. "However, our quality compliance rate for this year is 82 percent, up from 79.4 percent in 2002. We can't say the same for compliance for quantity. In 2002, 89.9 percent of the stations met quantity standards compared to 84 percent in 2004."
--->This means 16% stations gave smtg else than was paid. Michigan.
Drive to such station, fillup, and start to calculate mpg. Result is bs.

Drills in hand, gas thieves get creative
By ANSLEE WILLETT THE GAZETTE
Thieves apparently are getting more drastic as gasoline prices soar.
Locking gas-tank caps and covers have made siphoning harder, so thieves have started drilling holes into gas tanks, police say. “Anything for a $2.60 gallon of gold,” Colorado Springs police officer Jim Stinson said. He didn’t witness a gas theft Thursday but thinks he found the evidence: puddles of gas and a hole drilled into a tank. About 11:35 a.m., he went to a public parking lot at West Cucharras and 26th streets to investigate a suspicious scene. A strong smell of gasoline came from a Jeep Liberty; the plastic tank had been drilled into, and gas had spilled out. .................etc

um they are only talking about complaints they have no evidence that the pumps are dispensing anything other than the actual amount.
Complaints are what people do when they think they have been wronged. no wrong doing neccessarily occured

simple to cehck your local fill spot, just take a gas can and only fill it to the line marked in gallons or litres.. like if it is a 10 liter gas can then you iwll see how many litres it took to put it there (notice im from canada eh)
Or to get really scientific you could take a graduated cylinder that wil hold exactly a litre
