chattering noise when accelerating, timing chain??

Hi,

I have 2000 SE and I'm getting chattering noise when I'm accelerating between 1000-2000rpm. It's weired that it only happens when engine is warm. It goes away if I release the gas pedal. I'm sure it's not pininging sound.
Could this be timing chain problem? I saw the VTC sprocket TSB on 5.5 gen but I don't think that's the problem. Any thought?
Thanks.

I would open the hood, and with your hand move the throttle body cable to get the revs up and listen to where the noise is coming from... It could be as simple as a bearing on the alternator or drive belt...

I forgot to mention this. It only happens when car is moving. If I press gas when car is sitting I don't hear it.
I first thought it's heat shield rattling but I'm not sure.
Thanks.

If the noise is in the rear on the passengers side then it's probably the heat shield rubbing against the exhaust pipe. I had that problem and just bent the shield towards the back of the car about .5 inches.
