I was really surprised at how much louder the Ypipe made my car. It sounds better ,but louder. I hear some hissing noise from under the car now. I was told that I got the new y-pipe that has the flex part lined. I'm hoping that I have a exaust leak somewhere other than my y-pipe. I want to do cat back next and was thinking about Greddy, does anyone know the pipe diameter in inches? Would I be better of if got the WSP b-pipe?

 

listen closely to the hiss....you could be hearing the hiss from the CAI...at idle it will really be noticeable...

Dont worry it is just the intake and the Y has a little his on the acceleration.I dont know if that is what you mean.

 

I heard that all Y-pipes make that hiss noise and there is nothing you can do about it. I don't know for sure though because I haven't got that far with my mods yet.

 

well if the hiss is from the Y then it's due to the flex section used on the WSP pipe...minor is very slight...
