Hi everyone,
Recently my engine noise became louder and higher.
1500 rpm sounds like 15000 rpm.....(great, i am driving a F1)
Sometimes the engine sound went back to normal but i have no idea why it happened.
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

 

Hmmm....any more details? The first thing I can think of is a possible bearing failure on one of the belt driven accessories (i.e. power steering, alternator, A/C compressor, etc).

 

Well, this wouldn't make it higher pitched, but if you have an exhaust leak it would for sure make things louder.
