Putting the Injecter into the rail.

Is there a specific way to do this so i dont mess up the o rings cause i hope i dont have to take apart my engine again... (3rd time). Can i just place it in as fas as it goes and tighten the screws evenly or should i push damn hard?

Put the smaller o-ring in the groove in the injector housing and then press the injector (with the larger top o-ring) into the housing using hand pressure. Once you have pressed it in far enough for the screws on the cap to catch, tighten the screws evenly until they are tight. The FSV calls for only gasoline as a lube, but I used WD-40.

I would suggest attaching the fuel lines to the rail before installing the rail and turning the switch on to pressurize the rail to verify that nothing is leaking.

I tried using the screws in the cap to put mine in and ended up with this:

After that mess i just layed the cap on top of the injector and lightly tapped the cap wth a hammer until the injector was fully seated. Worked like a charm.

I found instructions on how to properly install the injectors in about 20 sec in the STICKIES.

Take the fuel rail out. Lube the o-rings with a smear of engine oil, then carefully insert the injector into the rail horizontally, and hand tighten it down while turning. May need a little effort, but not too hard. When the big o-ring seats, you can put the cap on and hand tighten the screws evently. Reconnect the fuel line, pressurize the system and check leaking. Then put everything back on. Including my friends' VG, i have done this, for god's sake, 8 times without any problems.

One suggestion. Don't use silicone based lubricants, only petroleum based. The silicone won't dissolve in gasoline and will migrate and clog the injectors.
