No!!!! It's hard to look at that, but atleast you are okay, and it doesnt look like too much of damage.

Unfortunately, if you rear-end a vehicle that isn't in reverse - you're declared at fault 99 times out of 100.

Sorry to hear of yet another accident.

As for the car i think ill be parting it out but not sure yet depends on how much i have to spend. I cant replace any of the parts especaily hood and left fender because the frame that supports it is pushed in. I have to pay for all the damage(including her car) since i was behind the other car.

Btw, mind me asking where you got your grille?
thats the stock grill. I jus painted it metellic silver to match it with the grill on the body kit.

sucks, should have gave yourself more room to stop even if she slams on her brakes. gotta drive defensively. lol stupid defensive driving course just took last night still in my head. Yah I rear ended a miata once turned my head real quick to look at another maxima going by and she stopped infront of me, but fortunately somehow no damage. Hopefully you can salvage the car.

Anyway an I30 like yours weighs just under 200 pounds more than a 4.5 generation maxima not to mention your gigantic rims

Right. Don't pay a dime? Even if the lady hit the brakes to cause you to hit her, its your fault. If you rear end someone your were too close.

Sucks about your car dude.

Yeah as it's been stated before this...doesn't matter what happens. If you rear end someone...you're at fault.

Sorry to hear about your car tho man.

I would be surprised if the radiator support received significant damage. These are available on ebay for $92, including shipping. Unless the hood is buckled, it looks fixable, as is the tip on the fender. The headlight assemblies are also available on ebay. The grill is about $45. Don't know about your bumper cover.
How much damage did you do to her car and is your insurance going to cover it? You did state you are going to have to pay for her car.

take some pliers and a hammer to the radiator support and bend it back into place. do the same with the hood. buy a headlight from a junkyard or .orgy member for $35. same with grille.

it'll be ugly, but you can get it driving again for less than $100 if you're resourceful. worry about saving up for clean new parts later.

i got the car running without spending anything but, cant replace anything until i get the sporting frame infront of the raditor changed. Its like the whole driveside has been squished in. Everything is off its place. The hood wont even go in the lock. its like totaly off to the right. It doesnt look tht bad from the outside but inside its very ugly. and on top of all this someone decides to steal my keys today in college(UTSA) so gotta wait untill another pair of keys arrive from houston. This has been a very sh*ty week. sigh

That is why you don't tailgate....leave more room this will never happen again. It sucks but we all learn from our mistakes, atleast it doesn't look that bad.

One car IS tailgating two to three cars minimun, when the car in front of you passses a fixed object, it should take you atleast 2.5- 3 second. One car is pretty close to follow and will not get you anywhere any faster doing so.

Man, you ought to go ahead and just fix the car. Why put yourself through the aggravation of hunting for another car?
