SO....i figured out the clanking noise i was hearing....

so today i realized i left my wallet in my friends car last night. noone was home at my house, so i decided i needed my wallet and ide drive my car for the first time in a couple days to go get it. on my way to my friends house i hear the clanging and rattling ive been hearing for about a week...then i get there and back home fine. my mom wanted to hear the sound i was telling her about so i went to just drive down my street and back. about 30 feet from my driveway i hear "ping ping ping" (the sound of metal dropping onto pavement) so i quickly stop and go "sh*t, thats a new noise" i back up and see one of the bolts that hold the caliper on laying on the ground.

so basically the noise i was hearing was the loose caliper bouncing off my rotor because that bolt was loose. luckily i was only about 30 feet from my driveway when the bolt fell out...
