I could of bought a Maxima .. but why ?? I30t is just so much better.

dr-rjp, dont waste your breath, they are just jealous."

"As they say, "You get what you pay for," and from the looks of things, Max owners seem like they don't know when to quit paying.

Check it out...

Ever wonder why so many Max owners spend several large just so as to make their Max-in-the-box NOT look like everybody else's Max-in-the-box??

Ever wonder why so many I30 owners are content to leave the outside of their cars pretty much alone and save their spare jack for a few performance mods and some bigger wheels??

As they say, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts," which is how I sum up the Infiniti I30.

Now, as for our "less-expensive" cousin, it's hard to tell what is the "whole" given how many of its parts are now aftermarket."

As for our mates, Down Under, they probably see us blokes as all a bunch of figjams anyway, listening to the way we whiteant each other's rides and whinging like we were in the car bizzo.. No dramas, Mate. You can bloody-well call a Ute an Infiniti if you darn well please, and we won't be gobsmacked, either."

The guy is an a$$hole! There was no need for him to initiate his thread. If he feels I30s are superior, so be it, but there is no point in posting it and ranting and raving. He should get a life!

I don't even like the looks of an I30.....too granny looking. Big front grills and chrome trimings don't do it for me. IMO, the Maxima looks sexier and looks better in a body kit. Why would I pay more $$$ to be in a granny box?

The VLSD and their analog clock.
We Maxima guys will never live up to the I30 standards. It will be okay, both cars are virtually the same and are both great vehicles.

My 96 I30t 5sped has all of the problems that a maxima has because they are essentially the same cars.

1. Clutch
2. Transmission (rebuilt).
3. AC
