Got my $20 3" universal cone intake that I won on ebay today...

Install:

VERY EASY... Just unbolt the stock airbox. then I got the gold part out of the airbox and attached to the cone. Then I bolted this onto the car and put lots of duct tape around the seal to make sure no air will get in.

Drive:

I turned the engine on and listened to the slight hissing sound of the intake. Nice. all looks good, time for a test... I drove easy at first and there was no additional sound. I got onto an onramp and from a roll in 2nd gear I punched it! My Apexi WS now begins to work harder and makes the car pull harder from about 3000 all the way up as far as I can tell.. The sound gets nice and loud just where the exhaust stops and makes the entire range sound really mean, but still not too loud when driving normally.

I'm thinking of ways to get the intake to stay in place and not rest on the wheel well.

TRACK TESTING ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT... I'll let you know if I it really does work.

later,
(I'm such an idiot for not doing this mod the day I got the car)
