HELP!!! I was Cleaning out TB and now my car won't start!

I cleaned out the TB and I put everything back together, tightened the clamp on TB connected the 2 big hoses and the small one and connected both sensors, now my car won't start I can hear the fuel pump turn on then shut off, I think I might have drowned the engine because I opened the butterfly plate a couple of times

so do I let it sit there for a while and let it undrown itself or is there anything I have to do to undrown it?

car won't start after cleaning TB has never happened to me. did you plug back the fuel pump fuse correctly?

I didn't remove the fuel pump fuse, it didn't say anything about removing the fuel pump fuse. just unhooked the battery

Does your car even try to start? I mean does the engine roll over at all? I know that after a good cleaning, initial start up may be a little difficult, but once you get it going, all that muck you cleaned out will exit out the back via ya muffler.

If you really hosed down the throttle plate, you may have flooded the engine. Prop the plate open for a while or just wait.

Also check and make sure the MAF sensor is plugged in. You might have unplugged it while removing the intake.

wait so I had to hold the butterfly plate open THEN spray it in?! if so then I only sprayed the plate not what was after it...

I guess I'll have to do it again, but how am I supposed to reach in there or will the carb cleaner take care of that?

dude just get a rag and reach in there. you might get a little dirty and if you're not carefull you might sratch yourself on the butterfly.... but thats the only way to clean it out without taking it all off...
