Are these the struts that the guys at shops try to sell you? I'm guessing people who do have these on their cars don't have them "willingly." Don't go back to Pep Boys.

I've never heard anyone even mention Monroe struts here.... I've found that if you look around and read enough here that you'll find a wealth of information, that relates to the exact car that you own, from people who drive and work on these cars every day. My .02...

I read on the board some where that they are good OEM replacements. But it costs about as much as the Tokico Blues (sometimes the Monroes cost more) so why go with them?

I put them in my 4th gen a while back. I wasn't impressed. They felt OK for about 10K and then started to feel like the 110K OEM ones I replaced.

For the same money go with the KYB gr2's or the Tockico's. They are the ones who make almost all of Nissans OEM struts.

Got the Monroe Sensa-Trac's and I am quite satisfied. I did a lot of research and found the technology inside the strut to be quite sufficent. I put them in, I live in NYC by the way, the streets over here are F'd up and I was quite pleased to feel very little vibration. The car feels like new to me and they have lifetime warrantee.

i work at monro, and the sensa trac are their top of line brand. If you dont want to fork over the money they should have some cheaper. But also, the monro that i work at gets its parts from a store called, autopart international. AI carries KYB gr2's. Its possible that they may be able to order those and it could take a few days to get there, but those are nice struts, and what I am currently riding on.

Thanks. It's been a week and it feels great to me. I just hope I dont just feel this way cuz I was riding on busted struts for so long.
