OK so I spent the better part of five hours on Tuesday installing the ebay tint in my Saab 9-5 wagon. I had purchased the whole car tint for $25 and spent $15 on shipping, so I'm in for $40 at this point. I got the 35% for all the windows, I have 20% rear and 35% front on my Maxima and I think the 20% is too dark for normal driving.
The tint came fast and was simply rolled into a cardboard tube. I took it out and it appeared to be cut well, however the actual tint is the only part that is cut, the clear backing that hides the adhesive was not cut. The company recommends cutting the backing, so in the back of the wagon I carefully used a razor blade to cut it all out. The tint seems to be of good quality, it is gray-black and not purple or brown, and has no scratches or waviness to it at all. Really does seem like good stuff. You clean the windows inside and out, then stick it to the OUTSIDE first and check for fit. The rear window did not have a cutout for the wiper motor area, and the rear roll-down windows were slightly big so I had to trim them. The shapes were all exact and the rest of the windows fit pretty well with a little trimming needed here and there.
I am fairly meticulous and took my time doing this but here is the result: I'm not so happy with it. I have some windows that look great without any bubbles and with perfect fit, but I had trouble with all the roll down windows and with the back window and that is where I'm not too happy. The back window is in one sheet and in the process of moving it (with exposed adhesive) from the outside of the car to the inside of the car it stuck to itself like cling wrap over a leftover bowl of oatmeal and destroyed itself. So I have no tint on the rear window. Not a big deal and I might actually leave it that way, or do a lighter tint so I have better visibility. The roll up windows all seemed dificult and I had one rear window do something similar and stick to itself and as I pulled it apart it formed little lines on itself. You have to look closely to see them but they are there. I'm still waiting for a little of the soap/water solution to dry out of two bubbles on the front passenger window because it won't stick in these spots yet. Once it dries I think it will stick, but I write this 2 days after I put it on.
My girlfriend has yet to see it in the daylight and she gets the final say since it is her car but it does not look BAD. In certain sections it looks like a home-job and not professional. From 20 feet away it looks alright, you don't notice any problems, but in the car or up close to the car from outside you can see some issues. If you have any experience doing this I would say go for it, if not and you are not totally patient, then forget it and let a pro do it.

Paid 140 w/ lifetime warranty, probably the best visual mod to my car besides getting rid of the hubcaps.

AS I said before I have 20% on my Maxima and it is too dark. I have owned the car (with the 20% tint on the whole time) for over four years. I find 20% to be too dark for normal driving in Los Angeles California. I can't see the curb when parallel parking, I can't see pedestrians, and I have a hard time parking in my dark garage, etc. I like the look don't get me wrong, but I prefer mods that make the car FUNCTION better, not because 15 year old boys think they look cool. I also have no idea where you guys are getting your tint. My Saab (9 windows remember because it is a wagon) would be about $300 at a local shop. I'll take the $260 I saved and spend it on my girl.
By the way maybe I should mention: I can D R I V E. I was a professional driver w/ over 1 million miles in trucks, buses, limousines, motorcycles. My skills are top notch, I just prefer to see the world around me.

on my last car (01 altima) i spent about 210 doing my tints for 5 windows. worth every dime. they were true pros and got compliments on my tints from everyone.
btw this garage i went to, forget the name, by union area/morris area had 3 garage carpeted and my ****ty altima was sitting next to porshes, and all these exotics.
spend some loot for tints. you wont regret it
